JobSummary: Under general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager, assists physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties.

MinimumPosition Qualifications:


  • Graduateof a State recognized vocational school or equivalent.


  • MAcertificate

  • CurrentCPR (BLS) certificate

Experience: Entry level with less than 2 years’ experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows and an e-mail system.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Highlevel of customer service skills with a genuine caring approach to helpingpeople.

  • Maintainsa positive attitude with changing conditions.

  • Goodorganizational abilities.

  • Requires good written and verbal communications skillsto communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

PreferredPosition Additional Qualifications:

Computer Skills: EMR and/or IDX experience preferred.

Other: Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills a plus.

EnvironmentalConditions: May include exposure to potentially hazardous material, infectious agents, contact with patients, public and staff.

PhysicalRequirements: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying up to 24 lbs., and grasping.
